
First Wave of Artistes Announced for St Kitts Music Festival 2025: Vybz Kartel, Jennifer Hudson, Kes The Band Among Those To Perform
The Saint Kitts Music Festival has become a cornerstone of Caribbean entertainment since its inception in 1996 and is set to dazzle audiences once again in 2025. Traditionally held during the last week of June, this festival has evolved into a melting pot of musical genres, including soul, soca, jazz, R&B, calypso, merengue, reggae, gospel, and blues, attracting fans from across the globe.
Over the years, the festival has hosted a plethora of renowned artists. In 2008, the lineup featured international stars such as John Legend, Billy Ocean, and Mario, captivating the audience with their soulful performances. The 2024 edition continued this tradition, with Mary J. Blige headlining the event, delivering a powerful performance.
The 2025 lineup promises to uphold this legacy of excellence. Among the artists slated to perform are:
Akaiiusweet and Tobap, who, fresh off their 2024 Power Soca Monarch win, are expected to bring an electrifying energy to the stage.

Kes the Band from Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica’s Shenseea, Nigerian singer-songwriter, Ayra Starr who is celebrated for her soulful voice and Afrobeat influences, adds an international flair to the lineup.
Grammy and Academy Award-winning artist, Jennifer Hudson is expected to mesmerize the audience with her powerful vocals.
Saint Kitts and Nevis’ own Dejour was also among the acts announced in the first wave of artistes set to hit the Music Festival Stage in 2025.
Arguably, the most anticipated of all the artistes revealed so far is Jamaican dancehall sensation, Vybz Kartel.
