The date has been set and at long last, the impressive lineup of artistes for the 2024 Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival has been revealed.

The excitement begins on April 30 and will run until May 12.

Romain Virgo, Teejay and Voice will join the Saint Lucian All Stars on stage on opening night.

The first of two Pure Jazz nights will feature performances by John Patitucci, Allison Marquis and Element of the Arts.

This will be followed by Kingdom Night on May 8. Among those scheduled to perform are Donnie McClurkin, Carlene Davis, Marvia Providence and several others.

Pure Jazz night two will see acts like Samara Joy, Vaughnette Bigford, Christa Bailey and Shannon Pinel hitting the stage.

Machel Montano and Beres Hammond will headline Caribbean Fusion on May 10.

Chloe Bailey is set to return to St Lucia for the festival. She will headline the World Beats portion of the event alongside Davido.

The festival will end on May 12 with the Ultimate Celebration featuring performances by Air Supply, Baby Face, Michelle Henderson and several others.

The Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival, established in 1991, has evolved into one of the premier events on the Caribbean cultural calendar. Beyond its roots in jazz, the festival has expanded its repertoire to encompass a diverse array of musical genres, including reggae, soca, calypso, and R&B. The Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival has earned a reputation for having the best blend of artistes representing different genres at each staging of the annual event. Some of the world’s biggest and brightest stars have travelled to Saint Lucia to perform on the festival stage.

There was Herbie Hancock’s Jazz Odyssey. In 2013 the Renowned jazz icon delivered what’s still being described as a mesmerizing performance, weaving together classics and innovative compositions that mesmerized the audience. 

Lauryn Hill’s Soulful Resonance: In 2015 the festival welcomed Grammy-winning artist Lauryn Hill, who, with her soul-stirring vocals, transported the crowd into a realm where genres seamlessly merged. 

Lionel Richie’s Timeless Melodies: A highlight in recent years was the legendary Lionel Richie, whose timeless hits resonated beneath the stars, creating an atmosphere of nostalgia and pure musical bliss. 

Local Brilliance, A Lucian Showcase
