Sean Paul Responds To Jada Kingdom & Stefflon Don Beef: Woman Nuh Fi Talk So
Sean Paul has come under fire for his response to the war of words between Jamaican artiste Jada Kingdom and Stefflon Don.
Dancehall enthusiasts were worked into a frenzy on Tuesday following the release of diss tracks by both artistes.
The teaser to Stefflon’s song on Rvssian’s Dutty Money riddim, was released over the weekend. In it, the artiste could be heard threatening to box an unnamed female.
Subsequent to this, Jada took to social media asking if she was the one being referred to in the song. This was seemingly confirmed with the release of the full song as the name “Twinki” was mentioned.
Jada aka Twinkle ,has since responded with a diss track of her own. London Bed was released to rave reviews with the artiste taking shots at Stefflon and her relatives.
At the centre of the feud, is Nigerian Afro-beats artiste, Burna Boy. It should be noted that Stefflon dated the African giant from 2019 to 2021. Despite claims by the online rumor mill that Jada dated Burna briefly last year, she never admitted this. Burna Boy’s use of her name in Talibans II remix with Byron Messia further fanned those flames. However, the closest Jada ever came to acknowledging her rumored entanglement with Burna Boy, was in her diss track which was released on Tuesday.
The man tell me say him never Wah be no stepfather
A him yuh fi go cuss little idiot girl
Half a milly inna pounds, trip to Paris
Couple Birkin bag a new watch pon me wrist
Full a style watch eh pree, swear pon this

Meanwhile, Dancehall superstar, Sean Paul has voiced his displeasure with the direction of the feud.
“I doe love this not one tall. Woman should be warriors yes, but for a cause. U should lead the way morally 4 the fam. Men calm down if y’all doin dat 2. 2 beautiful black woman. Live beta. Set a beta example pls. 4 the culture man beg uno. 4 the kids. 4 the younger females.”
Both Jada and Stefflon were tagged in the post. While hundreds of people responded with comments of support for the views expressed by “Dutty Paul,” many others have accused him of misogyny.
“You men in dancehall are so one-sided.” One woman posted. “Men can clash lyrically but women can’t? Dancehall is just for men then? Sean duh just ‘llow the one ya.”
“Respect sir, but its not a man’s place AT ALL to tell women how to be women. It’s not even that serious, it’s entertainment. Both ladies are showcasing how clever and lyrically inclined they are. Both broadening their fan bases,” another person commented.
One gentleman asked Sean Paul “Why you never say something when Fully Bad Kyodi a clash bred? Make the woman them do them thing cause the clash can benefit both a them this is dancehall not reggae, jazz or pop.”
Another commenter said “Dis kinda one-sided still cause when the man demands a tell each other suck out them this, that, shot inna face this, that, there’s no peace set example post… and they all doing dancehall.”
“It’s entertainment bro… dancehall hasn’t been the same as before and it was getting boring. Remember Dancehall has a history of clash culture and it gives the people something to talk about… I’m not saying you’re wrong but this is the dancehall that Jamaica knows and it shows how creative they can be when their backs are against the wall. It’s just the culture fam and you know it.”
To this, Sean Paul responded: “Sone parts of the culture are destructive. Like the culture of drinking alcohol excessively. It corrodes ur liver and if ur liver gone ur no longer a liver.”
Tony Matterhorn was among the hundreds of people who added his voice to the discourse that’s still raging in the comment section of Sean Paul’s post.
“Real talk but on the other hand this is dancehall and it’s raw so from time to time we gonna have this. 100 love goes out to @stefflondon and @jadakingdom u got the fans on their toes,” he posted.
Even Stefflon Don added her voice to the conversation.
“It’s not that serious trust me just sun fun.”
Despite the criticism, Sean Paul doubled down on his stance.
In response to one of the many people who commented on his post, the artiste said “ I have never bin down with artistes clashing so I doe know why u are confused. Maybe ur not familiar with my stance.”
One commenter asked Sean Paul who in his opinion won the battle. “mi granny win. She is 100 this year. Greatness,” was his response.
Earlier today, Stefflon released yet another diss track (#DeadGyalWalking) aimed at Jada Kingdom.
It remains to be seen in Jada will deviate from her earlier stance and respond to Steff again.
After her initial response she said she only deigned to respond to Stefflon out of respect for the culture.
“For everyone who’s saying ‘war start’, war jus done! Well, for me that is; I’m in a happy and healthy relationship now, I won’t be prolonging this nonsense,” she said in a message posted on Instagram story.
