Every year, swimmers from across the globe converge upon the tranquil shores of Nevis, ready to embark on an extraordinary aquatic journey known as the Nevis Cross Channel Swim. On April 6th, swimmers will gather at Oualie Beach on Nevis, ready to embark on the invigorating 2.5-mile journey through the narrows between the islands, culminating at the picturesque shores of Cockleshell Beach on Saint Kitts.

Now in its 22nd year, this iconic event was first conceptualised by Winston Crooke to pay tribute to a friend who succumbed to cancer. It has since grown by leaps and bounds and is now a staple on the island’s event calendar.
